Jamie McMurray and Kevin Harvick led practice sessions for NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers at Atlanta Motor Speedway Saturday morning.
McMurray, behind the wheel of the No. 88 Chevrolet, posted a lap at 185.251 mph to lead the opening session. Kyle Busch turned the second fastest lap, followed by Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick and Reed Sorenson.
Harvick set the pace in Happy Hour, circling the high-banked 1.5-mile speedway at 182.850 mph. Kasey Kahne was second in the final session with an average speed of 179.971 mph. Ryan Newman, Carl Edwards and Paul Menard completed the top-five.
Forty-two drivers participated in each of the practice sessions.
Nationwide Series qualifying is set for 2:40 pm Saturday.
