Johnson grabs pole for AAA 400, Second Of Season

Jimmie Johnson will start from the pole in Sunday's AAA 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at the Monster Mile.  

Johnson posted a lap of 155.736 mph to edge out A.J Allmendinger.  Allmendinger clocked a lap at 155.642 mph and lines up second on the starting grid.  
Martin Truex Jr. qualified third, followed by points leader Denny Hamlin in fourth and Juan Pablo Montoya in fifth.  

Starting sixth through tenth are Greg Biffle, Jamie McMurray, Kurt Busch, Paul Menard and Carl Edwards. 

ESPN will have live coverage of the AAA 400 at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
