ARCA Completes Daytona Testing

patrick-sheltraDaytona ARCA tests’ have concluded with the Sunday afternoon session led by Shelta Motorsports driver Patrick Sheltra with a 49.392 second lap at 182.216 mph.

 

JAM Motorsports driver Robb Brent had the second fastest lap in the final session with a time of 50.364 seconds at 178.699 mph.  Mark Thompson driving the #66 Venturini Motorsports machine was next in line with a 50.087 second lap at 179.687 mph.

 

Sean Corr was fourth on the speed charts while JR Motorsports Danica Patrick, working with crew chief Tony Eury Jr. rounded out the top-5 with a lap of 50.358 seconds at 178.72 mph.

Matt Lofton, Leilani Munter, Bobby Gerhart, Joey Coulter, and Grant Enfinger finished off the top-10 in Sunday afternoon’s speed trials.

 

Venturini driver Mikey Kile had the fastest lap of the weekend during the drafting session late Saturday afternoon.  He turned a lap time of 49.164 seconds at 183.061 mph.

 

Alli Owens, another Venturini Motorsports driver, was the fastest woman in the three day ARCA test with a fast lap of 49.192 seconds at 182.957 mph, also coming on the Saturday afternoon draft session.
