Do you think NASCAR should penalize Kyle Busch or Brad Keselowski for their incident in the Food City 250 at Bristol Motor Speedway?

It's Time For NASCAR In Daytona
Written by Lindsey Marks

daytona-international-speedwayThe off-season, which always seems like the three longest months to every hardcore race fan, is finally over and NASCAR is headed down to Daytona Beach for the Great American Race, the Daytona 500.

From the time the checkered flag flies at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November until Speedweeks in Daytona begins in February, hardcore race fans all over the world just feel… off. Sure, the holidays keep everyone somewhat distracted and football and hockey can be kind of fun to watch. But, there is no substitute for the on-track action of NASCAR.

Every hardcore race fan cannot wait to hear the engines roaring once again, to see the bright colors of the cars as they flash by on the television screen, to go to the track and smell the rubber. The off-season is entirely too dull in comparison.

Thank goodness it’s time to go racing again.

Race Country USA has been bustling throughout the past three months to prepare for the 2010 NASCAR season and as the rigs pulled out of town to head south, I personally breathed a sigh of relief.

It’s almost like an addiction, this sport we love so much. We crave it. Over the off-season we attempt to satisfy our hunger by watching re-runs on SPEED. We may even decide to watch Supercross since that season begins before NASCAR. Yeah, you know what I’m talking about, the insatiable need to see some racing action.

Well, it’s finally time to get back to the good stuff.

Welcome back, NASCAR. We missed you.
