mikey-kileThe 2010 ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards, Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at the Daytona International Speedway presents an exciting way to kick off the racing season for stockcar fans. With over 50 cars entered into the race and a strong female presence it is sure to excite.

Venturini Motorsports started off their Daytona campaign strong at the test that took place back in December. Out of the top four fastest cars Venturini Motorsports captured three of them, with driver Mikey Kile turning the fastest lap of the weeked with a time of 49.164 seconds at 183.061 mph. Closely behind in his footsteps were teammates Steve Arpin and Alli Owens.

Originally from Westlake, Louisiana, Mike Kile will drive the No. 25 for Venturini Motorsports for the full 20-race ARCA Racing Series schedule.  This will be his second year in the ARCA Series and he ran in the top-five during the 2009 race at Daytona. Steve Arpin will pilot the No. 55 Toyota for the Venturini Motorsports Development Program at the Daytona International Speedway.

Alli Owens, a native of Daytona Beach, will drive the No. 15 Chevy sponsored by ElectrifyingCareers.com who qualified on the outside pole for the 2009 Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200. She looks to be the top female in the race as she ran second during the test session in December.alli-owens

Also in the field for Venturini Motorsports will be Mark Thompson and John Wes Townley. Venturini Motorsports becomes a record setting team amongst themselves and within the ARCA Racing Series with their Daytona Drive for Five effort.  They become the first team to field five drivers for a single ARCA race and the most the team has ever fielded.

The ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards will have their 2010 season debut at Daytona International Speedway on February 6, 2010. Coverage of the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 will begin at 4 pm ET on SPEED.
