jason-whiteJason White will rejoin SS Green Light Racing for the 2010 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season, driving the #23 GunBroker.com sponsored machine for the full 26 race schedule which begins on February 12 at the Daytona International Speedway.

"We’re looking forward to getting the season started,” said Jason White. "We bought a new truck that we are going to run at Daytona. We've done a lot of wind tunnel on it. I think we have a good shot at running up front.”

White, a native of Virginia, debuted in the NASCAR Truck Series in 2001, running a part time schedule until 2007 when he joined the series full time.

Doug Howe will serve as White's crew chief with guidance from team manager Bobby Dotter, a legendary NASCAR figure with many years of experience to draw from.

“It's a new team," White continued. "But it's a team that has been in existence a couple years. We’ve added some talented people and having Bobby’s experience will just make us better.”

SS Green Light Racing co-owner Ken Smith says the team is looking for good things to happen in 2010.

“We are excited to be reunited with Jason White and GunBroker.com." said Smith. "Even though we were not racing together in 2009, we watched each other closely and the progress both entities made on and off the track. We talked throughout the year and we both felt that combining our equipment, technical resources and sponsors was a logical step in the development of our teams. This collaboration will create a robust effort that will put this team in the limelight in 2010.”

As far as the plans for the team's #07 truck Smith said, “We are still planning to campaign the No. 07 truck in 2010 and we should be announcing the driver lineup for that team shortly.”
