parker-kligerman-frank-kimmelLongtime ARCA Series title sponsor RE/MAX, a leader in the real estate industry, announced they will expand the sponsorship to include the Rookie of the Year award in 2010.

The 2010 RE/MAX Rookie program will begin at Daytona with the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 on February 6. The program will include per-race and season-end cash awards. The highest finishing rookie at each race will earn $250 with the Rookie of the Year Award winner collecting $10,000.

ARCA has honored the Rookie of the Year each year since 1957. Parker Kligerman won a record setting nine races on his way to winning the Rookie of the Year award in 2009.

Other drivers who have captured the ARCA Rookie of the Year Award in their careers include Frank Kimmel, Bill Baird, Bill Venturini, Dave Dayton, Benny Parsons and Davey Allison.
